A decade ago, before the establishment of KG Life Sciences, the KG Group of companies had already gained recognition as experts in silicone elastomer materials. Our journey began in 2009 under the banner of KG Chem Enterprise, a dynamic company located in the state of Perak, Malaysia. Initially, we operated as a distributor for Shin Etsu Chemicals, playing a significant role in expanding Shin Etsu’s silicone elastomer business in Malaysia.
As part of our company’s growth and restructuring in November 2009, KG Chem Enterprise transformed into a private limited corporation, emerging as KG Materials (M) Sdn Bhd. Today, KG Materials Sdn. Bhd. continues to serve as a pivotal supplier of both silicone elastomer raw materials and molding machinery in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian market. We take pride in providing professional technical guidance and supplying raw materials to the elastomer industry.
Over the years, our commitment has expanded to include exceptional technical consultation, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to foster growth in the medical, food contact, electronics, electrical, automotive, and semi-conductive industries in Malaysia and the wider Asian region. In 2020, our dedication to quality was validated as we achieved ISO9001:2005 certification from the British Assessment Bureau.
In 2022, KG Materials (M) Sdn. Bhd. ventured into the production of medical silicone disposable products through a strategic partnership with our molding collaborators. We are now engaged in the production, marketing, and distribution of 100% silicone foley urinal catheters, external male urinal catheters, and scar management silicone gel sheets, all aimed at the global market. We take pride in the fact that our products are entirely made in Malaysia.

In April 2009, KG Chem Enterprise invested by Win Candle Enterprise founder in Ipoh as expansion into silicone HTV supply business.
In November 2009, as part of company restructuring and advancement into silicone materials supply business, KG Chem converted into private limited company – KG Materials (M) Sdn.
Introducing Shin Etsu Nantong CHN9000 series into Malaysia market & registered 133MT Sales volume within year of 2013.
In December 2014, KG Materials move into new warehouse in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, with premise area of 10,000 sq.ft. KG Materials further strengthen as key supplier for silicone and latex raw materials.
